What We Believe

Some Things We Are Committed To:
- We are committed to the understanding that the market place of ministry is not inside a church building with other Christians, but out in the community where people don't know God. Therefore, our gatherings focus on serving God and equipping disciples.
- We are committed to the understanding that God is miraculous and all-powerful. To be a Christian who does not expect miracles, signs and wonders to happen today sounds strange to us. Therefore, we believe that what God did in the Book of Acts didn't end in chapter 28 it is still taking place today.
- We are committed to the understanding that if a ministry can be done in our own strength and wisdom we have missed something. Therefore, we will approach each situation of life with an expectation that God is about to show up and do something wonderful and miraculous and beyond our abilities.
- We are committed to experiencing the presence of God in our private lives and in our corporate gatherings. The presence of God, above all other things, is what defines the Church as the people of God. Without a hunger for His presence we can become just a religious group of people who are void of real life. We believe that all ministry and direction for life flows from being in His presence. We believe that as we press deeper into the knowledge of God's presence we will discover His intended purpose for our lives and our ministries.
- We are committed to the process of change - constant change - as we follow Jesus in our journey of faith. Therefore, we will help people understand that their security is in Jesus alone and not a particular ministry style. The ministry of Living Waters will be just like its name, living and always moving.
- We are committed to the understanding that simplicity and authenticity will guide the decisions we make about the life and ministry of Living Waters. Therefore, we are confident that we have understood the Lord's direction when the results of our efforts produce something that is simple and authentic.
